Our 5th Year Anniversary

We went to the Palmyra Pageant for our 5th year anniversary and Loren surprised me with an itinerary of what we would be doing on our way their and back.
We went to Hershey park first but just to the museum and things. It was really neat to read the history about Mr. Hershey and what he did and wanted to do. He built a school and community for his workers and others. He kinda reminded me of Walt Disney and his idea of Epcot.

On the road up to Palmyra we ran into a little place saying it was the oldest house in the area. So we stopped by to check it out. The lady was all dressed up in the 1800 style and shared about the man who lived there, William Hooker Smith a Doctor and his family. Loren and I really enjoy that kind of thing, History and old house, style. Latter on a couple from the bed and breakfast we stayed at told us of an old mansion and gardens up the road they thought we might be interested. It was indeed interesting. 40 room Home, they didnt have children but had some of her family stay with her and held 50 servants and any other travelers they had coming. Quit an amazing house and Beautiful gardens.

The bed and breakfast was beautiful out on a hill in the middle of now where. the inside was cute and quaint. we had a small room with a huge tub that was behind the shower curtain so it was deceiving, thought it was the shower then you open it up and it goes back a good 6 feet, with the tub. The outside was Beautiful, loren set up dinner on the deck by the pool it was wonderful he is amazing. :)






*** Pictures of the mansion we went to and some pictures of the gardens. She had alot of people visit her and bring gifts, she started having them bring trees to plant in her yard, thought that was cool. My favorite one was the weeping beech.

Then last but not least, we went to the Hill Camorah Pageant saterday night, saw my cousin there and had a great time. :) then sunday drove the 8 hour home, on the way stopped and had a picnic at Nay Aug park.







What an amazing fun filled weekend. :)I had to take a whole 2 days to recover but it was well worth it. :) I love Being with my best eternal friend.

4th of July

Loren and I with some friends went down to our Nationals Capital for fourth of July and watched fireworks. It was a neat experience. I think loren and I have been spoiled with Disney fireworks though. It just wasnt the same with out music. But we had a good time. As we do when ever we are together. :)

JUNE....

June seemed to fly by. Its been getting hotter here and it wears me down. I tend to feel sick when im in a lot of heat now a days. So i ended up cutting my hair (some times i think its not short enough, but loren likes it long and i would be afraid how it might look if i went any shorter.)

We started our Birthing class this month and have loved it. Its like the bradly method but called Brio. Its great to have loren right there beside me all along the way. I defiantly recommend a birthing class. Great info, others bring up questions you might not of thought of, and it helps to be more understanding confident and a place to ask questions. :)





We went to a Museum in Baltimore called port discovery. We had a great time. It was nice to take our Friends children with us. Watch them interact and things. (even though loren and I could see our self going on our own.. im glade we had children with us. :) they are so cute and we had a lot of fun with them. :)

Loren was so happy to have her come up to him that next sunday and take his hand and smile at him. he loves kids. He will be a great dad, witch makes me more am more excited about having our first baby. We both have really been wanting kids. And now here it comes.

We are so grateful for the children in our lives that we have been able to be with. they have given us such love and hope for the future. Im grateful for family and friends, what a support system and source of love and guidance.

Baby showers

Its so fun to get together with family and friends. I had such a great time and feel so loved that friends and family would throw me baby showers. :) I have just about everything now. Its been such a blessing how everything has come about.

Here is Lesa R. my sister in law, she planned the one in hurricane. I had one in Henderson as well with Randee, unfortunately i dont have any pictures from that one. which is to bad we had some legacy pictures taken. :)






Here is my little baby corner. We wont really be using it since we will be moving from our place in October, but i wanted to put things up and have that experience prepping a baby room. Which i enjoyed. and it makes me happy seeing the crib and things up. Those thoughts and feeling of, Wow a baby will be here. :)

Simple things in life

I think life is all about enjoying the simple things. Like a little kid in a candy store. Like Loren when all we have watched movies on at home for about 4 years is a lap top with ok speakers, to a tv with a vcr that you can see more and hear more. Here he is like a little kid :).


Im so grateful for those little things that can make us happy, a kind word or note from a friend. Going out to the park and laying out on the grass, hot chocolate with lots of whip cream. :)....

May 2011, Wedding, baby shower and more

Loren and I got to go home this may for my sisters Wedding. :) we had a buisy and wonderful time. Randee threw me a baby shower in henderson nv. and then my sister in law Lesa also threw me a shower. we had so much fun. I really appreciate what they did. It takes alot out of ya to throw a party at least for me it does. I threw my sister a bridle shower 30 people showed up it was alot of fun, just prepping for it got me all nerved up. Her wedding date was may 20th we help set up all thursday night and all threw friday helped when and where we could. it was a magical disney wedding. It all turned out really nice. I loved being with my family and seeing friends. i wish i could have visited more but at last i was consumed.

We got to spend time with lorens family which was wonderful. there was a baptism and we went to cathedral gorge. here are some pictures.
