Four Months Old

Wow time has gone by.
Well lets ketch you up the last two months. Peters first holiday was Halloween, we celebrated with our new ward the night we moved in. Peter was in a little Monkey costume, his grandma gave him. He was so cute. :) We then passed out candy that night as well, which we though being in a home more people would come by but there was just barely over 10, so Loren was happy with all the left over candy. There is a picture here of an amazing family, who is so talented, I had to take a picture of there costume that night, Mother Goose and her nursery rhymes all made out of duct tap! It was great. We of course moved in October, it was kinda crazy, but a wonderful move. We love the area and the house. but getting there was kinda difficult. we unfortunately got the wrong size truck, luckily we started two weeks early and went back the next week with a van. It rained and snowed a little on us as well, which reminded us of moving out of Logan. kinda crazy. But we are here now and its wonderful. :)












November,
We absolutely love our Church ward here, we have met very nice people and have felt so comfortable and welcome. Its been fun having dinners, walking and kids play group with them. Loren and I this month drove to North Carolina to pick up my sister and her husband to drive around Wingate University for an interview he had. (which he did great and will be attending there fall 2012. Yeah! were so excited for family a little closer, 6 hours) so that was alot of fun and really glad we did it. Unfortunately it threw peter off his sleeping schedule. he was sleeping through the night but after that it was gone. :(
Thanksgiving we had with families in the ward,(the duck tap family) invited us over and we had a wonderful time. there were four families there and lots of yummy food, so felt like home. Loren went to work the next day for a 13 hour shift but came home earlier when another guys showed up unscheduled. So Loren went out and got things to make me breakfast, well a late breakfast but it was so great to have him home. :) we had a great weekend.
Peter then preceded though to get a runny nose. which was sad, so he was uncomfortable and sad for three days or so. He is now getting over it with some help from a friend. but still a little stuffy. He is an amazing little boy though. We are so very blessed to have him. We have been blessed so much this year. There is so many things to be Grateful for.



















Thanksgiving day:




Went out to dinner with friends in Laurel and then went to the Mall afterward, but we forgot a stroller, so we improvised and used Lorens jacket. :)
Peter liked it, he was so good that night, got so tiered that he feel asleep when we were walking around. He is adorable. :)

Loren's birthday and peter is two months old

Loren had his 27th birthday. We celebrated on our own and then his parents came out the next day and stayed with us for a week. We had a good time and im sure Peter liked having his Grandparents around to love and hold him.
Peter is sure growing. He is over 12 pounds. He is sleeping through the night (k some nights for 5 or so hours. but that's just about all loren is getting lately)
Loren's work has been kinda crazy with losing two people, they are now down to 4 people for a 24 hours job coverage. and looking for apartments has been tough on him as well. He stays after work now a days to look at apartments down there before coming home. our lease here ends this month so we really hope we will have somewhere to go. We had an application down on a really nice place but they just got back to us yesterday (took them 10 days, which is crazy, our other options got taken in the mean time) so ya its been kinda crazy here. but Peter is doing well and we all still love each other and thats what matters. :)

Our trip back to Maryland

Well we made it back to Maryland, and its been a while since i have updated my blog. So here we go....
The Plane ride went well for Peter he ate and slept. I on the other hand was sore sitting for five hours. I did however get an empty seat by me which was Great! It was so good to be back with Loren. :) He even got me flowers. I just love that man. :)

1 month old

Peter’s 1st Month Adventures:
Peter saw almost all of his Lawton family at a park for lunch 3 days after he was born in Arizona. Then took his first long road trip back to Las Vegas to see his Erickson family. On Saterday he waited with his daddy and aunt kena outside the temple for mommy to be with her dear friend. Sunday his Aunt and cousins came to see him from China. We had a filled 2nd week with family and friends. Over the weekend he went to his first pool party, for our sisters surprise baby shower. His baby blessing was that Sunday, Aug. 21st in Henderson Nv. Then Tuesday we traveled up to see Grandparents in St. Goerge and Hurrican Ut. Wednesday we were in Enterprise Utah at my parents house, there we cleaned and reorganized my bedroom there, so others could use it. Loren has always wanted to sleep on our love sac with our baby one day, so we took the opportunity and slept on it for a portion of the night. When it was just loren and I we use to say how one day there would be a baby right here with us. Loren also has been waiting to put a baby in the middle of the love sac as well. He use to flufen up the love sac and throw our friends kids in the middle of it and they would sink in, he couldnt wait to have our own to do that with. We didnt throw peter in but we set him in the middle and took a picture. In Hurricane Peter had his first bath and in the same bowl Loren bathed in when he was a baby. He was excited to bath him there and take a picture like the one in his baby book. We spent a day in cedar with my sister and her family. Loren was suppose to leave that saterday Aug. 27th but because of the Hurrican back east his flight got changed to next tuesday. Which was great for us. :) We love having daddy around. He was around when peter started to smile, (on our anniversary was the first time i say peter smile. :) peter also got a little up set stomach one night and threw up all over loren. I am so grateful for lorens help and the others around me. Peter got to go to his first soccer game in Cedar but he slept threw it all. He also slept threw his first time at a restaurant for my parents anniversary. It all worked out for me. His first day at church was this last weekend, Sep. 4th. I tryed to stay all three hours and did but it wore me out. I never realised what it takes afterwards. But Peter is such a sweet, good, happy baby. We are so blessed and lucky to have him with us. His last visit with our midwife, Dixie Story was wednesday and he was just over 10 lbs and just over 22 inches. Our little Peter is growing up, he doesnt feel like our new born any more. but is new in many other ways :)

Its been great to be with family and friends we sure have enjoyed all the time with them Unfortunately it keeps mommy worn out. But were getting more settled each day. Peter and I will leave Vegas this tuesday september 12th.
